Parkinsonia aculeata Description
Shrub; branchlets tomentose, glabrescent when old, spines erect, broad based, woody. Leaves bipinnate, pinnae 2-4 pairs; leaflets 2, oblanceolate, rachis flattered. Racemes axillary; flowers yellow; bracts cauducous; calyx tube short, unequal; petals obovate, clawed, villous; stamens 10, filaments unequal, villous. Pod tomentose, striated; 1-5 seeded.
